Employment Disputes

Do you have a dispute with your employer/employee?

An employment contract may include both expressed and implied terms, including terms implied by the Employment Ordinance (Cap. 57).

The terms of an employment contract must not be inconsistent with any of the rights, benefits and protections conferred upon an employee by any Ordinances of Hong Kong.

If you have a dispute over the terms of an employment contract, you may consider seeking preliminary advice and further information from the Labour Department. However, if the dispute you are faced with cannot be resolved, you may consider commencing legal action in the Labour Tribunal.
